We were approached by Peak Access, a company that was already known across the industry for safe, efficient rope access services in some of the most challenging environments.
Director Ian Watson and Operations Manager Ryan Casey knew the company’s website wasn’t representing that reputation well, and they were looking for a marketing partner who could help sharpen both the site and the broader strategy behind it.
Challenge
When Ian and Ryan came to us, Peak Access already had strong technical credibility and a loyal client base built on safe, professional rope access work.
Their concern was that the website didn’t reflect the caliber of that work. They wanted something that felt professional and industrial, but still approachable and easy for prospective clients to navigate. Just as important to them was finding a partner who understood their company culture rather than a large, impersonal agency they’d have to manage from a distance.
Peak Access needed a website that matched the quality of their work.
Approach
After an initial assessment of Peak Access’s brand identity and their current position in the marketplace, the team at Pohl Strategic began listening carefully to both Ian and Ryan in an effort to understand their company and the goals of their marketing upgrade.
As Peak Access and Pohl Strategic began to work together, there was good communication back and forth and an ease of collaboration that matched Ian’s expectation. “I feel like Jason and the team took what I was saying and ran with it really well,” Ian reflected afterward. “I got that impression right from the start, so it made it easy for me to work with them.”
To deliver a fully upgraded website, we put together a complete rope access website design package: new written content across the site, four new case studies highlighting the specialized services Peak Access has provided for valued clients, new photography and video captured on an active jobsite, and initial on-site keyword and search engine optimization.
The case studies were written so future clients could recognize themselves in the work Peak Access had already done. For the photo and video shoot, our team worked from a detailed schedule and shot list, capturing rope access technicians in their element while keeping pace with a demanding day on an active jobsite. The project moved through a few minor timeline delays but held a steady pace to completion, with consistent responsiveness from our team throughout.

Certain strengths of Peak Access weren’t coming through on their old site: their technical skill, their safety-first culture, and the direct, collaborative way they work with clients. We helped strike a balance in the new site’s look and feel, industrial and professional, without tipping into the kind of big corporate feel that wouldn’t match who they are.
We rebuilt Peak Access’s web presence around new written content, including four case studies developed specifically to help prospective clients see themselves in the company’s past work. New photography and video from an active jobsite gave the site authentic, high-quality visuals of technicians at work, and initial on-site keyword and search engine optimization helped the new content perform.
Impact
“We’re really stoked with the website,” said Watson. “The look and feel of it is great. In fact, it’s right where we wanted to land, in terms of looking more industrial, more professional, but it doesn’t have that giant corporate feel. The team at Pohl Strategic nailed it.”
Peak Access now has a website that reflects the reputation they’d already earned in the field: professional and industrial, but still approachable. Ian and Ryan valued the ease of collaboration and the responsiveness they experienced throughout the project and found in Pohl Strategic the kind of partner they’d set out to find from the start. Peak Access is now well positioned for continued growth.
